The 6 Phases of SQT
Compared to traditional metal microneedling where the skin is stimulated at treatment, SQT Bio Microneedles stimulate the skin for up to 72 hours. SQT Bio microneedling works within 6 phases as explained below,
Phase One
The first phase of SQT Bio Microneedling is the implantation of 3 to 5 million siliceous microneedles that come from a freshwater sponge. These needles are pushed into the epidermis and dermis. They stimulate the skin for up to 72 hours before they naturally fall out.
Phase Two
The second phase of SQT Bio Microneedling is the activation of Basal Cells
Basal cells are found at the bottom of the epidermis – the outermost layer of skin. These cells produce new skin cells. As new skin cells are produced, they push older cells towards the skin surface, where old cells die and are sloughed off.
Phase Three – Collagen reproduction, Profileration and Remodelling
The implantation of spicules creates a wound-healing cascade in the new skin, the wound is rebuilt with new granulation cells. The wounds are replaced with new dermal tissues and blood vessels, effectively remodelling the skin.
Phase Four – Epidermal Repair
The human epidermis has an impressive ability to heal in response to injury and to restore its structural integrity, barrier and protective functions. Epidermis healing, or reepithelialization, is the renewal of the epidermis that has been damaged by a wound (spicylre implantation in this case). Wound healing occurs in three distinct overlapping phases, inflammation, cell profileration, and remodelling
Phase Five – Metabolic Renewal
Once the epidermis has renewed, the skin’s natural metabolic processes of repair and renewal will take place. Effective treatment is not about annihilation but rather communication. Ingredients that communicate with the skin on a cellular level to instigate change and renewal, re-educating the skin to behave the way it did when it was younger.
Phase Six – New Skin
The final phase of SQT UK is Fresh new skin within just 7 days.
Spicule Implantation – Basal Activation – Collagen Reproduction – Epidermal Repair – Metabolic Renewal – Fresh new skin
